Public socio-economic interests of Ukraine's transition to economics knowledge.

Abstract

The article considers the main socio-economic interests of the possibility of realizing the knowledge economy in Ukraine, from the individuals (society), business and the state. Determined separately, for each subject, the main tools of influence on the implementation of opportunities for the formation of knowledge economy, as well as drivers that contribute to its development. The main drivers (stimulators) were: creation of effective state institutions implementing high quality of life of the population; the existence of a high-quality educational system in the country capable of meeting the needs of the economy and society; availability of economically effective and competitive fundamental science in the country; a high level of development of human capital in its broad sense, etc. A study of the existing potential in Ukraine for the development of the knowledge economy and the existing foreign experience of consolidating the interests of society around this goal has been carried out. The risks and obstacles that restrict the process of satisfying the interests of society in creating a knowledge economy are defined in Ukraine. The most acute risks were: instability of the economic and political situation in the country; Immaturity of Ukrainian society, which manifests itself in the absence of adequate perception of reforms and changes; low level of trust of the population and subjects of economic activity to the state and reforms; insufficient level of social capital development in the country, etc.
