Marketplaces as an objective consequence of electronic commerce development

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the precondition of electronic commerce development, its positive and negative effects on the trade in general, as well as marketplaces which operate in the Internet-space of Ukraine.
It was defined that nowadays the speed of electronic commerce development is very fast and it is faster than the speed of the tradition trade development. There were structured advantages and disadvantages of electronic commerce. The concept of marketplace was studied and the features of the modern marketplaces in Ukraine were analyzed. In particular, it was analyzed the activity of such marketplaces as Rozetka.ua, Allo, F.ua, Prom.ua, Bigl.ua, Shafa.ua, Crafta.ua, Izi.ua, Olx.ua, Menu.ua, Tabletki.ua, Liki24, Skidka.ua, Kabanchik.ua. It was defined that marketplaces are the interesting solution of the problem of realization of interests as customers and sellers, because customers save their time on searching required product and get it very fast. As for sellers, they don’t loose time on the development of their own online shops, in contrast they use well-known online-platforms.
