Development of logistic outsourcing under the conditions of international fragmentation of production.

Abstract

The article considers the prerequisites for the development of logistics outsourcing, namely: deepening of the international division of labor, the globalization of world markets of goods and services, increasing competition and the constantly growing demands of customers to the quality of logistics services. The author analyzes the main trends of consolidation in the field of logistics outsourcing. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the use of efficient contractual logistics services remains an effective channel for optimizing production costs in global value chains. As a result of the analysis, it was discovered that logistics outsourcing involves any form of externalization of logistics activities that was previously performed within the organizational structure of the company.
