The article describes various approaches to the definition of counter-cyclical economic regulation mechanisms. The comparative analysis of neo-keynesian and neo-conservative approaches of countercyclical regulation of the economy was accomplished. Key tools of crisis management that were implemented in the leading countries during the Great Depression of 1929-1933. and during the Great Recession of 2007-2010 was analysed. The mechanism of countercyclical regulation was developed. This mechanism includes subsystem of economic regulation on national and supranational levels.References
