Analysis of the international innovation activity in global crisis.

Abstract

An analytical study of international innovation’s development’s current state in the global crisis is suggested in this paper. It’s proved that in recent years the pace of global development has slowed and an active innovative activity can stimulate a positive trend. It is shown the ways that helps leading countries stimulate innovation. Statistics data shows that the leadership transferred to developing countries, to a greater extent - to Asia. It’s analyzed that the share of high-tech exports in the leading countries is significantly higher than the same figure in Ukraine, and this reflects the decline of innovation sphere in our country. The leaders in terms of sales of intellectual property rights are the EU, US and Japan, while the share of developed countries in this indicator is also reduced, and developing countries are at the forefront. As a result were made the following findings: the global economic system is changed to a polycentric; post-crisis development of innovative activity has not yet been restored in full, however, according to the statistic data, it could be seen the movement of R&D geography in terms of investment from developed countries to developing ones.
