Business personnel security management as a tool for the development of the economic space of the regions of the country

Abstract

Proven is the crucial role of enhancing the development of the economic space of a region, wherein the competitiveness of economic entities plays a significant role. This competitiveness can be shaped through the gradual establishment of an effective system for their personnel security. It is substantiated that the development of the economic space of a region depends on various factors, and its dynamics can be demonstrated based on a wide range of indicators, the most illustrative of which is the gross regional product. An assessment is conducted of the achieved level of change in the volume of the gross regional product of Ukrainian regions in 2021 compared to 2004 and the corresponding average national value. A substantial reduction in the growth rates of the gross regional product volume is noted in the regions of Ukraine that fell under partial occupation in 2014. Regions where the growth rates of the gross regional product volume during the studied period did not exceed the country's average are identified. The experience regarding various aspects of ensuring business personnel security, as formulated and declared in the development strategies of three Ukrainian regions, is explored. Trends in the change of the gross regional product volume, for which were the highest, are examined. Directions for forming business personnel security, the implementation of which becomes a condition for the development of the economic space of Ukrainian regions, are outlined.
