Methods for assessing the environmental impact of anthropogenic activities on the environment

Abstract

The reasons for the aggravation of ecological and economic contradictions of the national economy are revealed. The main methodological provisions for calculating the environmental effect as a spillover result of the STP measures implementation and part of the economic effect are presented. The main requirements for determining the economic effect in the calculation period such as time reason impact accounting through the reduction factor application and calculation year identification; peculiarities of associated results cost assessment due to the degree of environmental and related social indicators deviation from the targets set in a centralized manner, and the scale of impact on environment and social sphere are emphasized. The structure of ecological results and social simultaneous expenses for nature use and current expenses are itemized. The method of determining total current (operational) and simultaneous costs in production (utilization) of goods for the settlement period, considering liquidation value at the end of settlement period.
Methods of general and comparative efficiency of rational nature use and expenses for protection evaluation and timely reproduction of environment quality are offered. The economic methods of influencing enterprises that are violating current environmental legislation and regulation of international economic relations with its help are considered.
