Abstract

Companies are aimed at the provision of customers with goods on the right conditions and at the increasing of organizational value. It helps them support financial and economic outcomes on a desired level during long period of time. However, volatility and uncertainty, inherent business environment, cause different problem events and failures in the operations, which slow down or make the tasks impossible to perform. The article is devoted to the formalization of managerial approaches and principles to overcome problem situations and to prevent disorganizations of company activities that can worsen financial and economic outcomes and competitive advantages. The problems spread and have impact on other companies and their activities. It conducts to more negative effects over the supply chain and decreases supply chain’s competitiveness. Therefore, it is important to investigate how to make supply chain resilient to many disruptions, incidents and risks in order to develop tools for the problem solving. Methodological aspects concern operating systems and managerial finances, and include such categories, as scalability, business continuity, adaptability and resilience of the supply chain, which has these operating systems.
