The paper describes the forms of state regulation of economic processes under the world 2008 – 2009 financial and economic crisis in Ukraine and abroad. The measures aimed at solving the most acute current problems are considered. They include the short-term problems of banking liquidity, problems of housing and mortgage market. The emphasis is also made on such issues as a large-scale support and stimulation of the economy in general, and the individual sectors and institutional agents, the promotion of the development and introduction of new technologies, investments in infrastructure improvements, support to the employment and the unemployed, as well as to small and medium-sized business.References
