Abstract

The article highlights the state and prospects of development of the family business in the global economy. Analyzed the stage of development of the family company: the founder stage, the stage of direct successors, the successor step in the third generation. Highlighted a range of problems associated with the transfer of business the next generation, defined the stages of the process and invited to the definition of the concept "the continuity of the family business." An attempt was made to investigate the role of capital to ensure the continuity of the family business in the long term as one of the key factors of influence.
