Conducting investment activities under the influence of global uncertainty factors

The article highlights the relevance of the topic and presents a list of scholars and organizations that have conducted research on the impact of uncertainty factors on investment activity. It outlines scientific approaches to the definition of risk and uncertainty and identifies key researchers who have developed methodologies for measuring uncertainty and examined its influence on political and economic processes. A list of global uncertainty factors is provided along with their characteristics and their effects on the investment activity of countries. The article defines elements of a strategy for adapting to the challenges of global uncertainty and provides an example of the implementation of a response strategy to economic risks associated with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The author substantiates the need for further research in this field. The article concludes that constant adaptation of national investment policy to global uncertainty factors is essential to strengthening the resilience of the investment climate. It is noted that the introduction of a risk management system is a critical component of an effective investment policy. Strategy for the development of investment activity under global uncertainty should be based on flexibility, innovation, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
