Evolution of staff recruitment methods

The article explores the transformation of staff recruitment processes under the influence of globalization, digitalization, and intensified competition for highly skilled professionals. It examines both traditional and innovative recruitment methods, evaluating their effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and applicability in different organizational contexts.
Special attention is given to the role of modern technologies, such as gamification, Big Data, artificial intelligence, and targeted advertising on social media, in shaping contemporary recruitment strategies. While these technologies offer considerable potential to enhance the efficiency of hiring processes, the study highlights associated challenges—ethical concerns, high implementation costs, and market readiness for automation.
The authors emphasize the necessity of a hybrid recruitment model that combines technological solutions with human expertise to balance efficiency and personalized candidate engagement. The article presents a conceptual model of recruitment method evolution and outlines future trends related to the integration of AI into HR practices.
