Abstract

The article examines the dynamics and structure of Ukraine's trade in high-tech goods in 2010-2022. The trend towards a decrease in export volumes and an increase in imports of high-tech products, an increase in the negative balance of foreign trade in these goods is revealed. On the basis of statistical data for 2010-2020, a regression analysis of the dependence of Ukraine's economic growth indicators on the dynamics of the total volume of export and import of high-tech products, as well as the main types of high-tech goods, was carried out. As a result of the study, a significant direct relationship between the volume of Ukraine's GDP in actual prices and the import of high-tech products was confirmed, and no statistically significant influence of the export of high-tech goods on the indicators of economic growth of Ukraine was found. The results of the study confirmed a significant direct impact of the export of pharmaceutical products and electrical machines on Ukraine's GDP and GDP per capita. The direct relationship between the GDP of Ukraine and the import of electric machines and optical and photographic devices was confirmed, as well as the direct dependence of GDP per person on the import of electric machines, aircraft and optical and photographic devices.
