Abstract

The article analyzes and analyzes and systematizes the existing approaches to determining the nature and content of distribution (distribution) and trade by means of modern information technology. The methodology of tools for organizing channels through which finished goods and services are moved from their places of manufacture to their destinations is considered. The concept of digitalization, information systems used to automate the efficiency of distribution is detailed.
It is determined that the distribution channel contains two components - marketing and logistics, which are interconnected and interdependent, and have a number of advantages and synergistic effect of their combination.
An overview of ITS technologies and distribution system optimization theories is presented. The importance of developing programming tools and models that will help improve the operation and management of transport with the help of ITS is emphasized.
