Designing the regional economic space based on the green economy

The article is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and practical recommendations for designing the regional economic space based on the green economy in order to increase the level of competitiveness of the regional economy and support the European Green Deal. A classification of threats to the development of the green economy in Ukraine in wartime conditions is proposed, which can inhibit the sustainable development of regions and the country, the Green Deal movement, hinder the entry of Ukrainian enterprises into the European market and be a constraint on the post-war economic recovery. A conceptual scheme for designing the regional economic space based on the green economy is visualized, which covers the key visions, principles, components and interrelationships of the process of spatial organization of the regional economy in the context of sustainable development. The sequential stages of designing the economic space of the region on the principles of a green economy have been determined. They should be based on the synergy of interaction between different groups of regional and external stakeholders.
